A-Z Wall Tiles (Children's Book)
This project began as a wall tile effort, 26 tiles on a matte vinyl, adhesive material intended for a child's room. I've since decided to create a book (production cost issues), and I'm in the last section of the alphabet. When the Z illustration is done, it's off to a publisher. The most fun I have "working"on this is crafting the poem.
Angry Black Youth
Troubled by the inner city violence, drugs and sexual exploitation that Black and ethnic or racial minority youth are faced with, I was prompted to create an image that reflected my concerns. No purpose for this piece other than personal expression.
Zachary's Pizza
This was simply done for pure fun. I enjoy doing graphics that much! This, however, did lead to a $100 prize offering in pizza from the establishment. If you haven't had Zachary's Pizza, you must try it.
Montclair Elementary
I helped out at this school that my son and niece attended when they were young. I did website work and graphics for mugs and t-shirts. The otter was their mascot.
Colonel Panic
This was just some humorous fun. I got the idea when my Windows machine did the Blue Screen of Death on me. I was working to fix issues and reading up on computer problems, and the idea of Kernal Panic just got me side-tracked. A fun image though. The asterisk was meant for the back of a t-shirt where the definition was printed . . .
"Kernal Panic: An action taken by an operating system upon detecting an internal fatal error from which it cannot safely recover. The term is largely specific to Unix and Unix-like systems. A panic may occur as a result of a hardware failure or a bug in the operating system." Sold a few t-shirts online.
